Rental based on a 24 hour rental and do not include taxes. Pick up between 6 and 8 pm will be considered starting at 10 am on the following day and returns between 10 am and 12 pm will be considered as returned at 8 pm the night before.

Equipment rented is for offsite use and NOT to be used at Deer Lake.

Renters are solely responsible for the safe transport of all equipment and must have a roof-rack or similar transporting equipment to safely transport all equipment rented from Deer Lake Boat Rentals.

Off-site Rentals

Movie Industry
We are pleased to provide equipment for the movie industry. Our boats have been in a dozen different films and movies and we are very flexible and accommodating to your schedule.

Rental Rates for Boats: (These prices are only for off site use and for the movie industry. A cheque covering the cost of our equipment will be necessary as deposit.)

Daily Rental: $40 for the first day, $30 each day afterwards
Weekly Rental Rate: $200 per week

Prices are for pick up and drop off at Deer Lake. Deer Lake is a short 5 minute drive from the Vancouver Film Studios.

Canoe/Kayak Lessons

These 3 hour lessons introduce canoeing and kayaking in a safe and natural setting with an experienced instructor.

Canoeing and kayaking lessons are available anytime you wish if you get 2 or more people. If you are an individual who would like lessons, we can match you with other individuals looking for lessons. Cost is $39.82 + taxes and includes all equipment and instructor. Maximum number of registrants is 8.

Canoe Lessons: You will learn:

• backward paddle

1.5 HOURS OF FUN - ONLY $6 PER PERSON

We are pleased to offer a special discounted rate for groups. Our group rate is only $6 per person. This rate is for 1.5 hours and includes lifejackets, paddles, and a boating safety/instruction lesson from our staff. Groups are 10 or more people. This offer is available Saturday, Sundays and Holidays before noon and anytime (all day) Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).

Past experience has shown that most groups like to plan early, therefore we strongly advise that you reserve your group as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, and so that we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure that your group will have a very pleasant and enjoyable visit. There is no deposit required for reserving your group. If you would like a pre-trip site visit, I would be delighted to show you our facilities and equipment at your convenience.
